2025 Annual Environmental Statement
2025 Annual Environmental Statement
15th July 2026
We are proud to publish our Environmental Statement for 2025, recently submitted to the Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED).
This report provides a transparent and comprehensive account of our environmental performance across the Anasuria Cluster in 2025. It reflects our continued commitment to operating safely, responsibly and sustainably, with environmental stewardship embedded into how we work every day.
As we marked 10 years of Anasuria Operating Company, 2025 has been a year of strengthening how we manage our environmental impact – taking practical steps to further embed environmental responsibility into day-to-day operations across both our onshore and offshore teams.
Highlights from 2025 include:
- Developing and submitting our Anasuria Methane Action Plan to the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), integrating methane reduction into our wider Emission Reduction Action Plan (ERAP).
- Enhancing emissions monitoring through a methane drone survey and the introduction of onboard FLIR technology to support more effective identification of fugitive emissions.
- Establishing dedicated Environmental Representatives (E-Reps) offshore, strengthening workforce engagement and driving a more proactive environmental culture at asset level.
- Rolling out new environmental awareness training across all FPSO crews, covering chemical management, waste management and atmospheric emissions to ensure consistent understanding and accountability.
- Maintaining our ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System.
We recognise that meaningful progress comes through action, transparency and accountability. While 2025 has presented its challenges, our focus has remained on maintaining safe and reliable operations while continuously improving our environmental performance.
By sharing this report, we reaffirm our commitment to doing the right thing – not only as a regulatory requirement, but as a reflection of our values and the standards we set as an operator in the UKCS.
Teal West Development: First Oil
Teal West Development: First Oil
9th July 2026
Earlier this week, one of our shareholders, Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, announced that Teal West achieved first oil on 4th July 2026 – a fantastic milestone for everyone involved.
Developed as a subsea tieback to the Anasuria FPSO, Teal West will provide additional production to the asset for years to come. More importantly, it demonstrates what can be achieved when great people come together with a shared goal.
Over the past week, leaders from Hibiscus Petroleum, Anasuria Hibiscus UK Ltd. and Anasuria Operating Company had the opportunity to visit the Anasuria FPSO, meeting the teams who have worked tirelessly to safely bring this project to life. It was a chance to recognise the incredible commitment, collaboration and determination shown by everyone involved.
From our offshore crews and onshore teams to our contractors, suppliers and project partners, this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without all of you.
Our CEO, Richard Beattie, said:
“Teal West first oil is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the capability, determination and teamwork across our business. There have been long days, difficult decisions and countless challenges to overcome, but our team never lost sight of the objective.
I want to personally thank everyone who played a part in making this happen. From projects, construction, commissioning and operations through to logistics, HSE, technical safety, commercial and support functions, every team has contributed to this success.
I would also like to thank our shareholders for their continued trust and support. Their confidence in our people, our asset and our strategy has helped make investments such as Teal West possible.
This is an important milestone for the future of the Anasuria asset, and I genuinely couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved together.”
At a time when the future of our industry can often feel uncertain, milestones like this are a reminder of what is still possible. By investing in existing infrastructure, developing UK resources responsibly and continuing to work safely together, we can help secure the future of assets like Anasuria while playing an important role in the UK’s energy mix for years to come.
Congratulations, and thank you, to everyone who helped make Teal West first oil a reality. This is your achievement.

ESA Awards 2026: Finalist in 5 Categories!
12th June 2026
We are delighted to share that Anasuria Operating Company has been selected as a finalist in five categories at the Energy Safety Awards 2026.
After being shortlisted in two categories each year for the past four years, and proudly taking home several wins along the way, this is a fantastic achievement and one we are extremely proud of.
But this isn’t about us – it’s about our people. Being recognised in Sharing & Learning, Major Hazard Awareness, Safety Representative of the Year, Wellbeing, and Site Leader comes down to the care, commitment and hard work our team brings to safety every day, onshore and offshore. It simply wouldn’t happen without them.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved. We’re incredibly proud of our colleagues representing AOC as finalists. Thank you to Offshore Energies UK and Step Change in Safety for continuing to highlight the outstanding contributions being made across our industry.
Best of luck to our finalists, and to all nominees, ahead of the awards this August 👏
